When a relationship ends, suddenly, without any warning, there are so many things running through your head: hurt, anger, confusion, loneliness, disappointment, and a million others.
Trying to understand the situation is, at first, impossible. It's too surreal. You are constantly questioning yourself. Have I been living in a different world, fooling myself all these years? What went wrong? Am I to blame? What should I have done different? No matter how often you ask the questions, you can't seem to find the answers.
It takes time for the fog to clear and, slowly, you begin to realize what has happened and why.
Hopefully, you survive, life goes on, you become stronger and learn from the experience
